Enhance git module performance and improve path collection

- Conducted a complete audit of the git module to leverage the gix API for improved performance, aiming for significant speedups in git operations.
- Updated the `git_changed_files_impl` function to accept project prefixes as a vector of strings, enhancing the flexibility of change detection.
- Made the `collect_path_roots` function public to allow external access for collecting project directory paths.

These changes aim to optimize git operations and improve the overall efficiency of path handling in the project.

- alternatively, and this would be better: allow the user to specify their own OpenCloud api key (or cookie if we have to revert to that) to use (make sure providing this is very secure) and then we can let them have at it.
- need to ensure that only certain perm users can use the bot
- we need to make sure not just any public server with a bot link can just run this, because it will be using my system resources and could be insecure. this is a proprietary tool.

complete audit of our git module to see what we can leverage the gix api directly instead of hard coding in really slow ways ourselves
we can probably just call built-in functions to accomplish a lot of that hardcore tasks we are doing that would give 10-100x speedups
